• Families and Caregivers

Families are the people who love, support, and care for someone — whether by birth, choice, or heart connection. They are often the first advocates, cheerleaders, and constant companions in life’s journey.

    Caregivers
are the hands-on helpers. They work closely with individuals every day — helping with personal care, daily routines, meals, mobility, and sometimes medications. They're often called DSPs (Direct Support Professionals) and form close relationships with those they support.Think of them as the daily companions making sure needs are met and voices are heard.

  • Advocates and Support Staff

An Advocate is someone who speaks up, stands beside, and helps make sure others are seen, heard, and respected.

    Support staff
are the team members who help things run smoothly behind the scenes. They may not provide hands-on care, but they play a big role in making sure individuals with developmental disabilities have safe, fun, and meaningful experiences.

I have provided services to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout my entire career. My journey began early in life, inspired by my twin who had Cerebral Palsy.
