Bringing New Life to Old Things — And Big Changes to the Den!

There’s something magical about watching something once discarded become beautiful again. Here at Pam’s Den of Creative Fun, we’ve recently had the joy of repurposing a few old chairs—and what a journey it’s been!

With a mix of colorful paint, creativity, and collaboration, these chairs have found new purpose. Every brushstroke has been a moment of expression, inclusion, and participation. These once-forgotten pieces now stand as symbols of what’s possible when we believe that everyone deserves a chance to shine.

Speaking of new life…

Big things are happening behind the scenes. Pam is currently updating the website to better reflect the mission of the Den—with a strong focus on supporting caregivers. These updates are designed to make it even easier to find resources, get inspired, and discover new ways to make leisure activities accessible, joyful, and meaningful for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Celebrating the journey together

As we looked back through photos of recent projects and smiling faces, we were reminded of just how far we’ve come. The creativity we’ve sparked, the connections we’ve made, and the stories we’ve shared are a true testament to the power of advocating, creating, and teaching—together.

Pam truly values the participation and encouragement shown by this community. Whether you’ve commented on a post, joined a live session, or simply shared kind words, you’re part of this movement.

Let’s keep the momentum going.
More exciting updates, projects, and collaborative opportunities are on the way. Because when we work together—with purpose and creativity—we can make a real difference.
