How many of you have given yourself a challenge?
As many of you know, I have challenged myself to share a meaningful moment card on Facebook for 100 days. I am now at Day 70. I believe that is me persevering with a challenge that I gave myself. Wow, 70 days...30 more days to go. There have been so many inspirational messages shared each day. Each message, as I discussed it, could be interpreted differently by each person listening. Our first message was “Be in peace, not in pieces.” There were so many messages, and each one resonated with me differently. Let’s talk about the “meaningful moment” messages that we give ourselves and the folks we work with and provide care to. It is interesting how our words, or those we are provided with, engage our brains and affect how we move throughout the day.
I am looking forward to finishing this challenge and deciding what to work on next, or whether to continue this current challenge. I may never know how the messages are received by those who follow along, but I am hoping they resonate with many.
And then, I am thinking about how I—how we—provide meaningful moments of encouragement to those we provide services to or work with, as well as our family members.
Some of the meaningful moment messages of encouragement that resonated with me...well, they all really did, but here are a few:
Don’t Give Up
Consider
Take a Walk
Befriend Your Dragon
Wear Your Biggest Smile
Wonder
You Make the World a Beautiful Place
Find Your Way
Made to Matter
So, as I continue with this challenge, let’s all take time to look and listen to these meaningful moments. See how they inspire you and those around you.
