This past Monday, we were having fun with paint! Mixing paint, layering paint, swirling paint and even pouring paint.......and then taking a pause to let it dry! Patience is a skill I need to practice as well as helping the folks I work with understand patience as well. Together we are working on that skill. And today, as I was writing in my journal about a storyboard, putting together some simple thoughts about winter weather......again there was the learning opportunity about patience. For me, it was just enjoying the moment, the clouds, the rain, the wind, and gloomy weather. Ha! Enjoyment? Well, it allows me time to get a few things off of the list of chores, and just keep creating. But, I still need to be patient and look forward to enjoying the creative time when the fun paint skins are dry! Stay tuned to next week when the fun creating begins.
